Agriculture film, mulching film (agricultural), silage wrap film.
They are typically produced in rolls or sheets.
Film thickness is from 30 up to 200 µm
Width is1.5 m (a roll is 3 m)

Joint Venture “AMIPAK”, an open joint stock venture, produces polyethylene films including films for agricultural and building sectors.
Agriculture film
• transparent
It is used for covering greenhouses and hot houses. It is characterized by improved durability, stretching and rupture resistance rates.
Mulching film
• transparent
• white
• black and white
Is used for covering soil and prevents weeds from growing as it is a barrier to sun light and it also increases the temperature of soil, which in its turn increases the effectiveness of applying mineral fertilizers and watering.
Silage wrap film
• transparent
• white
• black and white
It is used for covering silo pits. Its wide employment improves the quality of fodder as it decreases the temperature and gas permeability so that the quality of fermentation increases significantly.
Agriculture polyethylene film is produced in compliance with State Standard 10354-82.
THE USE OF AGRICALTURE POLYETHYLENE FILMS
Polyethylene film produced for the building sector is used in agriculture as a translucent weatherproof cover for hothouses and other types of cultivation facilities (greenhouses, etc.) and other purposes; it can be dyed or undyed stabilized film.
Polyethylene film produced for the agricultural sector is used in fodder conservation and for other purposes; it is unstabilized.
POLYETHYLENE FILM PROPERTIES (for the agricultural and building sectors)
The most wide-spread greenhouse films are LDPE films. The most widely- used thickness values are 100, 120, 150, 200 µm. Single-layer films prove to have irregular strength properties in lengthwise and transverse directions. A less durable transverse direction is their weak point. But co-extruded three-ply films do not have such a flaw. They are characterized by the same durability rates in lengthwise and transverse directions. In order to increase the durability rate of greenhouse films (for more than one season) and form a set of specific characteristics to meet our clients’ requirements special additives are added to the produced films:
-
UV stabilizers for protecting greenhouse films from UV destruction effects;
-
antifogs for preventing the appearance of condensate and moisture on the inner surface of greenhouse films;
-
antistatic agents for avoiding static electricity which attracts dust to the film surface and reduces its transparency.
The three-ply structure of such agricultural film allows us to modify its properties to get a required set of characteristics.
Polyethylene film produced for the building and agricultural sectors can be used for technical purposes, the construction of temporary facilities, protective covers, packing and the production of multipurpose films, stabilized and unstabilized.
